All Special Bot Locations Astro’s Playroom Guide

This spun off into their own full VR action-platformer game, Astro Bot Rescue Mission, which got a ton of critical praise and even the Best VR/AR Game award at the 2018 Game Awards. As spotted by Twitter user realradec, Astro’s Playroom received an update for February 2025 that added the PS5 Pro as an artifact. In Astro’s Playroom, players can obtain “Artifacts” from a gacha machine that unlocks collectible PlayStation products. Although Team Asobi did not formally announce it, the update also added the PS5 Pulse Elite Headset and Pulse Explore Earbuds. Once players obtain these Artifacts, they can display their giant versions in the PlayStation Labo area. Finally, the update also changed Astro’s Playroom boot-up cover art.

Astro’s Playroom Is The Best The Ps5 Has To Offer

The PS VR Processor Unit was a box that both the PlayStation 4 and PSVR connected to. It enabled Social Screen video output to the TV, which meant it adjusted the VR headset’s display so that it was viewable on a television. This also allowed it to be used with asymmetrical multiplayer modes such as those used in The Playroom VR, and handles normal 2D content.

It’s a very easy list and you’ll have a lot of fun obtaining this Platinum. To unlock the Platinum Trophy in Astro Playroom‚ complete all story levels‚ collect every puzzle piece‚ artifact‚ and coin. Earn trophies for specific actions like Twisting Metal (jumping 3 times during a spin attack on ice). Double-check the trophy list to confirm all requirements are met before finalizing your journey to 100% completion. Several silver trophies are tied to collecting specific items like puzzle pieces and artifacts.

The final neat feature of Astro’s Playroom is the Network Speed Run challenge levels. You can do normal platforming challenge levels with Astro or ones focused on each suit to earn the best times. But it’s not all suits and colorful levels to enjoy, there’s also a mountain of collectibles to find that tug on the nostalgic heartstrings of any PlayStation fan. Astro’s Playroom is not a particularly difficult game, so you shouldn’t really have too much trouble finishing it regardless of your ability level.

There is a built-in progress tracker on PS5 trophies so you can easily keep track how many you found already. The Access Controller is the first PlayStation controller designed to accommodate for the needs of various disabilities, allowing disabled gamers to play with greater ease. It includes multiple different stick caps, buttons with swappable tags, industry-standard AUX ports to connect other accessibility devices, and supports up to 30 different profiles. It can also be paired with a second Access Controller and a DualSense, which can all act as a single controller input.

The cameos are plentiful and amusing, with franchises that go beyond the first-party catalogue, along with some surprisingly deep cuts that made me feel very old. But in the midst of all that history, Astro feels like an adorably fresh face; I’m glad to see the character break out of the confines of VR and reach out to a broader audience. Astro’s Playroom may not be the deepest or most ambitious game on PS5, but its humor and playfulness are just delightful.

Puzzle Piece 3/4 – After sliding down the long cable, pull the next wire and go up the two platforms moving up and down. The DualSense Wireless Controller is PlayStation’s most feature-filled controller. Removing only the light bar and renaming the Share Button to the Create Button, it features new haptic feedback motors in the handles for much more precise vibrations. The triggers were redesigned into “adaptive” triggers that provide force feedback during gameplay.

Time trial levels can be unlocked later and competing with others online to see who can finish a level in the best time can be quite addictive. The PlayStation 5 even gives me notifications when I get online if someone on my friends list beat my score which makes me want to keep jumping back in to take my spot back. The trophies in Astro Playroom are categorized by difficulty‚ with bronze being the easiest and platinum the most challenging.

The slight downside is that Astro’s Playroom is concise, as completing the game will take you an hour and a half. However, there are many collectibles to obtain, and Team Asobi has added free content updates. If you ever wanted to earn a platinum trophy, this is the game to do it. Fortunately, Astro’s Playroom has dynamic jumping, which means that holding down X will result in a much bigger jump than just tapping X.

It refers to the “Lonely Rolling Star” track from the official soundtrack. Both the game and the Trophy involve rolling a ball around so that it gets bigger and bigger. The “Cool Hoarder” Trophy, awarded for getting all the Puzzle Pieces in Cooling Springs, is named after 1996 PS1 game Cool Boarders, developed by UEP Systems. Cool Boarders was one of the most popular PS1 games, spawning four sequels. ” Trophy, awarded for getting hit by flying rubbish in Memory Meadow.

As mentioned before, Astro’s Playroom demonstrates the PS5’s potential. The speed of the SSD as levels instantly load is impressive, as nothing was this fast with the PlayStation 4. Astro’s Playroom makes the case that the DualSense Controller is the best in all gaming. It perfectly showcases the capabilities of the device in fun and engaging ways. From the moment you boot up the demo, the game takes you through the DualSense.
